2 Trick or Treaters struck by truck in Santa Rosa, 1 injured

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KTVU) - Two young children were struck by a truck and one of them suffered injuries while trick-or-treating Monday evening according to Santa Rosa Police Department.
Police said at 6:45 p.m. the vehicle collision happened at Raindance Wy. and Tuxhorn Dr. Initial reports were that several pedestrians were struck while crossing the street.
60-year-old Thomas Vinci was identified as the driver. He made a left turn into the holiday revelers, according to police.
A 9-year-old girl was taken to the hospital for treatment, but her condition is not known. The little girl was unconscious for some time after the crash according to witnesses. The 4-year-old- girl who was struck did not receive injuries.
The conditions were said to be rainy at the time of the incident.
The driver of the full-size pickup truck cooperated with investigators. Alcohol or cellphone use were not factors in the crash.
