3-alarm fire under control in SF's Inner Richmond
SAN FRANCISCO - At least two people have been displaced by a three-alarm fire that damaged a three-story residential building Friday afternoon in San Francisco's Inner Richmond District.
The first report of the fire at 425 Second Ave. came in at 1:55 p.m., according to fire officials.
By 2:43 p.m., firefighters had brought the fire under control.
No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze, fire officials said.
The building has multiple units and although only two people have been reported as displaced so far, fire officials said the number could go up later Friday evening, as people are getting off work.
As of 5:20 p.m., firefighters remained on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
