3 detained in East Bay carjacking and chase
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KTVU) - A carjacking and chase ended Tuesday morning with three people being detained in San Leandro.
Two women were dropping off donations at a kiosk near Toys "R" Us when three African American male teens, one with a gun, carjacked their car.

Police chased the suspects and the driver crashed the car near a Shell Station off East 14th and Bancroft in San Leandro. Two of the suspects were immediately taken into custody.
A third suspect ran from the scene, where police and deputies set up a perimeter. A K-9 officer spotted the suspect hiding near a home, and that person was taken into custody.
