4.2-magnitude earthquake felt in North Bay

A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck an area near Anderson Springs, Calif. on Monday shortly before noon, the United States Geological Survey said. 

The area where the quake as centered is roughly 20 miles north of Calistoga.

The USGS received reports that weak shaking was felt in Fairfield, southern Marin and San Francisco. 

There were no immediate reports of damage.
