4 men rob Novato Costco
NOVATO, Calif. (BCN and KTVU) - Three people wearing surgical masks stole jewelry this morning from a wholesale warehouse store in Novato, police said.
At 10:11 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Costco Wholesale store at 300 Vintage Way where three suspects had used a hammer to break glass display cases and steal jewelry.
The suspects ran from the store to a vehicle that was gone before police got there.
Police said no one was injured and the suspects did not display any weapons.
Officers did not find the suspect's get-away vehicle, which was described as a black Chevy Sonic.
About a month ago, four people stole jewelry in a similar fashion from a Costco in Foster City.
Police are asking for the public's help in finding the vehicle and suspects in the Novato burglary. Anyone with any information is asked to call Novato police at (415) 897-4361.
