SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco's Hard Rock Cafe is getting ready to re-open this weekend. The Pier 39 restaurant has undergone six-months of renovations.
Plans called to update the interior, bringing it from the 1990s into the 21st century restaurant managers say they're happy with the work.
"We're very pleased with the result, we redid the entire facility, everything from the facade outside to the decor inside. [We] constructed a new private dining facility with A/V hookups, all the bells and whistles,. Rock Shop has been completely redone. All the memorabilia is updated. I mean we are really blown away by the result. It's beautiful," said Ryan Metcalf with Hard Rock Cafe.
The grand re-opening is set for Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Bands are scheduled to play outside the restaurant all weekend long.
