Alameda Co. firefighters rescue camels

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. (KTVU) - A group of Alameda County firefighters posted a photo on Instagram with camels they rescued.

They're standing in front of two camels they helped save.

The fire burned their animal preserve near Middletown  called the Sacred Camel Gardens.

The firefighters checked on the camels Tuesday, and filled their water troughs.

A Go-Fund-Me account has been set up to help the camel grounds.
