Andrea Bocelli's San Jose concert rescheduled for Sharks Stanley Cup run

SAN JOSE (KTVU) -- Recording star Andrea Bocelli has rescheduled his June concert at SAP Center to accommodate the Sane Jose Sharks' quest for the Stanley Cup.

The Italian tenor had been scheduled to take the stage at SAP Center on Saturday, June 4 but he will now play the venue on Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. The Sharks will play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday at the SAP Center during Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Promoters said customers with tickets for the June 4 Bocelli concert can use them for the June 3 date. Ticketholders can call 408-287-7070 for more information.

The Sharks are in the Cup final for the first time in their 24-season franchise history and in Peter DeBoer's first year as coach. The Penguins are back for the first time since winning it all in 2009 and made it after Mike Sullivan replaced Mike Johnston as coach in December.
