Deputies with Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office made an arrest Saturday morning, in connection to a hit-and-run that led to the deaths of two dogs, and injured their owner, a sheriff's spokesman said.

Authorities arrested the suspect on charges of felony hit-and-run, according to Sheriff's spokesman, James Jensen.

Investigators say a truck hit two Labrador Retrievers at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday, at Dagmar Drive and Holiday Court.

The dogs, Sadie and Chudley, were hit and dragged, according to authorities.

Their injuries were so severe, they had to be euthanized.

Their owner was also dragged along the ground, as she held onto a leash, said deputies.

The woman suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Authorities had released photos from a neighborhood surveillance camera of a truck suspected in the crash.
