Artists give Bratz dolls 'makeunders' to empower young girls
An artist is giving the popular Bratz dolls an inspiring "makeunder."
She takes existing Bratz dolls, takes off their makeup, and repaints them. She then re-dresses them into the likeness of empowering women.
There is one doll that looks like the young Pakistani activist, Malala Yousafzai.
Another looks like Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, and another looks like astronaut Roberta Bondar.
The artist, Wendy Tsao, says she plans on selling the dolls on eBay in the next few weeks.
