At least 1 dead in collision involving motorcycle on Hwy 29
CALISTOGA, Calif. (KTVU) - At least one person died this evening in a collision on southbound state Highway 29, just north of Calistoga, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was first reported at 6:53 p.m. on the highway, just north of Old Lawley Toll Road, CHP officials said.
The collision reportedly involved a truck and motorcycle. A male victim was seen in the roadway, according to the CHP.
A Sig-alert has been issued for the highway, and there is currently a one-lane traffic control for the area.
