At least one dead in crash near Salinas
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (BCN) - At least one person died in a head-on collision this evening in unincorporated Monterey County, according to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at about 7:30 p.m. on southbound U.S Highway 101 just south of Hartnell Road south of Salinas.
Four vehicles may have been involved in the collision and one person may have been trapped in a vehicle.
