At-risk 32-year-old San Francisco man missing for more than a week

San Francisco police are asking the public for their assistance in locating an at-risk 32-year-old man who was last seen earlier this month.

Matthew Wastrodowski, who resides in the city's Mission District, is known to frequent Mission Dolores Park as well as the Phone Booth bar at 25th Street and South Van Ness Avenue.

Wastrodowski was last seen around 1 p.m. on Dec. 7 near the intersection of Clay and Walnut streets in the city's Presidio Heights neighborhood, police said.

He is described as a white man with blue eyes and blond hair, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds, according to police.

He was last seen sporting a beard, wearing black framed glasses, a red and black plaid shirt with a blue jacket, blue pants and blue shoes, according to police.

According to a LinkedIn profile for Wastrodowski, he works as a software developer at Kongregate, a computer gaming company in San Francisco.

Anyone who has seen Wastrodowski or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately or leave an anonymous tip for the police at (415) 575-4444. People can also text a tip to TIP411 with "SFPD" at the beginning of the message.
