ATM fraud suspect sought
(KTVU) - Here's the Rap Sheet for Jan. 6, 2016:
NORTH BAY ATM SUSPECT SOUGHT: Know this guy? He's stolen banking info and withdrawn more than $3,000 from hapless victims, Petaluma police say.
The man has used ATM and credit cards to get cash from victims in Petaluma, Rohnert Park and American Canyon, according to police.
The Petaluma victim had money withdrawn from ATMs in Napa and Vallejo on Nov. 18 and 19. The other victims' accounts were fraudulently used for ATM withdrawals in Benicia.
Investigators don't yet know how the suspect obtained the banking information.

DOWNTOWN OAKLAND SHOOTER SOUGHT: Oakland police today released pictures of the man who fired shots on a busy downtown street, hitting an innocent bystander.
The shooting happened about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 1300 block of Broadway. A man got into a confrontation with someone near Delauer's Newsstand and fired a gun he had hidden underneath his jacket.
The man he had been aiming for wasn't hit. Instead, a woman half a block away was shot. She is expected to survive.
An Oakland police watch commander saw the shooting and chased the suspect before losing him.

WOMAN SOUGHT IN FRAUD CASE: This woman withdrew $4,000 from a victim who had her purse stolen, Daly City police say.
The incident happened on Nov. 22 when the victim had her wallet stolen. Inside were her driver’s license, social security card and credit cards.
The suspect used this information to deposit several fraudulent checks into a bank account in Daly City and then withdrew $4,000.00 from the victim's account.
The suspect is a Latina or Filipino woman in her 50s, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. She may have plastic surgery scars on her face.
