Authorities on Monday located the vehicle belonging to the gunman who opened fire at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

The silver four-door Honda had a Nevada license plate and was found parked along Laurel Dr. at the beginning of Uvas Creek Trail about half a mile from the festival grounds.

Authorities say 19-year-old Santino William Legan used the trail to gain access into the garlic festival, cutting a perimeter in the fence.

Sources say a dog got a hit on the car earlier in the day and the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad, ATF agents and the FBI were called to the scene.

It's unclear if any new evidence was recovered from the vehicle.

Earlier in the day, investigators searched the suspect's home in Gilroy where they hauled away bags of potential evidence.

Police have yet to confirm witness reports of a possible second suspect.
