Barn burns in San Jose fire

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - Firefighters are at the scene of a three to four-acre vegetation fire in San Jose Tuesday evening. 

CalFire and San Jose Firefighters responded to the blaze that started around 8:45 p.m. The fire was near Boulder Ridge Golf Course in the Almaden Valley area, southeast of the Almaden Expressway and Coleman Ave. 

CalFire says a barn burned and KTVU's Maureen Naylor reported that neighbors were thankful for the quick response. The hillside glow from the fire could be seen for miles.
