Belmont gas station robbed at gunpoint

A gas station in Belmont was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night, according to police.

The robbery occurred around 9:45 p.m. at a Shell station in the 2000 block of Ralston Avenue.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, but responding officers were unable to locate him - even with the assistance of two K9 units.

Investigators believe he may have also used a vehicle.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned black man standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, black gloves and a ski mask.

Investigators believe he may be the same suspect from robberies in Burlingame, San Bruno, Millbrae, Redwood City and Menlo Park.
