Beloved service dog at UCSF Children's Hospital passes away
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) -- A beloved service dog who brought smiles to so many sick children at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital has died.
'Nilani' also known as 'Lani' passed away Tuesday, due to kidney failure.
She was seven years old.
Lani cheered up kids at UCSF for five years.
She loved to snuggle and was known to jump into bed with patients.
Many former patients have posted their photos with Lani on UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital's Facebook page.
