Blustery day Tuesday, more rain in sight

Monday's rain is being followed up Tuesday morning by fierce winds across the Bay Area.

The CHP has issued a high wind advisory for local bridges, the Richmond-San Rafael, San Mateo and Bay Bridges.

KTVU meteorologist Steve Paulson said it will be a blustery day with winds of 35-40 mph.

Standing water remains a hazard for drivers, CHP said. Officers have reopened a highway connector ramp in Pleasanton, that had been closed due to flooding.

At 1:35 a.m., a Sig-alert was issued for the southbound Interstate Highway 680 connector ramp to eastbound Interstate Highway 580, CHP officials said.

More rain is in the forecast for Thursday and Friday.
