Body recovered from Thornton Beach in Daly City

DALY CITY, Calif. (KTVU/BCN) - At least one person died Thursday evening at Thornton Beach in Daly City, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The death was reported to the CHP at about 5:20 p.m. off Thornton Beach Road.
No other details were available as of Thursday night. KTVU reached out to California State Parks, but did not hear back.
