Boy with rare birth defect is honorary SFPD chief of the day

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) – Four-year-old Massimo Buoncristiani was the honorary chief of the day on Monday.
According to San Francisco police, Massimo suffers from Tibial Hemimelia which is the absence of a tibia bone.
The birth defect occurs in one in a million births.
Massimo will have to get extensive surgery.
The SFPD says it looks forward to many more visits with Massimo.
