Brothers invent solution for dirty beer pong balls

(WFLD) -- Why hasn't someone thought of this before?!

A group of five brothers from Connecticut have found a solution to those balls using in the popular drinking game "beer pong."

In the game, partners will throw a ping pong ball at a group of cups. If one person makes the ball into a cup, their opponent must drink the contents of the cup. However, oftentimes, the liquid inside the cups get disgusting after several misses and sticky hands touching the ball.

Well, enter the Treibt brothers!

They recently invented the "Slip Cup- " a tiny a set of miniature cups that fit into normal-sized drinking cups to catch the ball and prevent it from tainting the liquid inside.

The cups are shallow enough to allow you to fill the standard-sized cup with a drink and are weighted to prevent the cup from being knocked over. Seriously, these guys thought of everything!

One of the co-founders of the Slip Cup, Chase Treibt, told BuzzFeed News that he came up with the idea after drinking something nasty while playing beer pong at a party.

The group of guys launched a Kickstarter campaign to help them fund their project. Click here to access their Kickstarter page and learn more about their invention.
