A burglary suspect led Concord police on two separate chases through the city Wednesday morning in an RV.

Officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 1300 block of Galaxy Way around 4:07 a.m.

When officers arrived they saw two vehicles leaving the scene.

They tried to stop both vehicles, but the suspects failed to and dual pursuits ensued.

The chased started on Commerce Ave. across Concord Ave. then proceeded the wrong way up the southbound Highway 242 on-ramp.

Officers called off the pursuit for safety reasons, but a few moments later they located one of the vehicles, a large RV, driving on Highway 24.

They pursued the vehicle for eight to 10 miles until the RV once again drove the wrong way up the southbound Highway 242 off-ramp at Solano Way.

Officers were forced to call off the chase.

Tips from residents helped police locate the RV traveling west on the shoulder of eastbound Highway 4.

The driver, Jessica Tomsky, was subsequently arrested.

Officers recovered stolen property from Wednesday's robbery in addition to several stolen items from other burglaries.
