Cal State East Bay police investigate threat at Hayward campus
Hayward, Calif. (KTVU) - Cal State East Bay police are on alert after someone threatened to visit the Hayward campus Saturday and start shooting.
The university posted a warning Friday night on its website saying that campus police are investigating the threat.
The school says someone overheard the threat mentioned in a conversation.
Campus police are working with other police agencies. They say if you plan to be on campus Saturday, stay aware of your surroundings.
