Caltrain clips car on tracks in Palo Alto, no injuries reported
A southbound Caltrain car has clipped a vehicle on the tracks at Churchill Avenue in Palo Alto, transit officials said this evening.
The train struck the vehicle, which was not completely clear of the tracks, around 5:42 p.m., Caltrain spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew said.
Trains were been held just after 6 p.m. but agency officials expect to begin single-tracking soon.
No injuries were reported in the collision, Bartholomew said.
