Campbell Police Saturday morning are searching for a person, accused of ramming into a patrol car, injuring the officer, and stealing the squad car.

Police posted several pictures in connection to the incident.

Officers say a stolen car ran into a Campbell police vehicle in the area of Winchester Boulevard and Sunnyoaks Avenue. Two male suspects ran out of the car. The officer left his vehicle, and started chasing after them.

Police said that allowed 26-year-old driver, Itse Murillo to jump into the empty police car and take off.

Another officer tried to stop her, but was dragged and thrown to the ground.

The stolen patrol car was later found.

But investigators say Murillo, and 35-year-old Christian Hernandez remain on the loose Saturday morning.

The second passenger in the car, 22-year-old Anthony Reyes was caught, said police.

The injured officer was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Murillo is described as 5 ft. 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with tattoos on her face.

Campbell Police posted a photo of what the patrol car looked like, except the car in question had the unit number, 1353.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the stolen car to call 911.
