Cancellations at SFO due to weather in East, Midwest

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (BCN) - Nineteen flights are canceled at San Francisco International Airport Monday morning because of inclement weather in the Midwest and Eastern sections of the country, airport officials said.

Among the flights canceled are six arrivals from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, four arrivals from Newark Liberty International Airport and five arrivals from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, said airport duty manager Brian Horne.

Two flights bound for San Francisco from Logan International Airport in Boston and two flights bound for Boston from San Francisco International Airport are also canceled, Horne said.
