Cancer survivor shaves head every year on her diagnosis birthday

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Breast cancer survivor Kathleen Daniels shaves her head every year on her diagnosis birthday. 

She wants to spread a message of strength to others fighting cancer. 

Daniels says the first time she shaved her head, she asked to have it done in the back so no one would see her.

Now, she is not ashamed and she is not scared.

This year, she shaved her head live on KTVU the Nine.
