Carjacking leads to a crash in Vallejo
VALLEJO, Calif. (KTVU) - Two teenagers are in the hospital after police say a carjacking ended in a crash.
It occurred just before 1 a.m. Saturday on Sonoma Boulevard.
Police say officers saw a car that had been reported stolen in a carjacking in Fairfield yesterday.
They tried to pull the car over, but the driver took off.
He then lost control and crashed into a cement retaining wall.
The 19-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger had to be extricated from the car, and are suffering serious injuries.
Police also say they found a replica gun in the car.
