Chimney Fire smoke threatens artwork at Hearst Castle

SAN SIMEON, Calif. (KTVU) The Chimney Fire, north of San Luis Obispo quickly spread over the weekend to 31,644 acres, according to Cal-Fire. Now there are fears the historic Hearst Castle in San Simeon, which houses rare and expensive pieces of art could be affected by smoke from the fire.

Dan Falat, district supervisor at the local Parks and Rec Department joined us to discuss the situation and the dangers the art works face.
