CHP pursuit causes early morning lane closure on WB I-580 in Dublin

DUBLIN, Calif. - Multiple lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 580 just west of the junction with Interstate Highway 680 were closed for about an hour early Tuesday after a solo-vehicle crash following a pursuit, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

 The CHP said the collision was reported around 4:15 a.m. and at least the two left lanes are blocked.

The pursuit started in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and southbound Interstate Highway 680 before the vehicle crashed. At least one person has been detained and there are minor injuries as of 4:20 a.m.

All lanes reopened about 5:15 a.m.
