CHP trying to find owner of injured dog
SANTA ROSA, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol is trying to find the owner of a black lab who suffered a broken leg after being hit by a car near Santa Rosa.
Officers transported the dog to an emergency animal hospital in Rohnert Park on Monday night.
The dog is wearing a tag that says "Mr. Man" and he is microchipped.
The information on his chip says he is from Nevada.
Animal hospital staff is working with the Nevada Humane Society to track down his owner.
