Christmas comes early for animals at Australia Zoo

SYDNEY - Santa made a special trip down under, to a zoo where he delivered an early edible Christmas.

Good ole Saint Nick stopped by  Sydney's Taronga Zoo where he dropped off food treats for chimpanzees and a tortoise.

The chimps woke up and found their gifts wrapped inside their enclosure, while the zoo's oldest resident, Esmeralda the Aldabra giant tortoise,  got watermelons carved in the shape of Christmas trees.
