Coast Guard responds to reports of multiple capsized boats

SAUSALITO, Calif. (KTVU) - At least four boats have capsized in Richardson Bay near Sausalito. 

One of the boats was a 10 foot skiff.

Coast Guard crews were searching the area Friday around 9:45 a.m. to make sure no people are in the water. The owners have confirmed no one was on board any of the boats at the time, so the Coast Guard stopped its search. 

According to the Coast Guard, the boats capsized due to the storm and heavy rain Thursday. 

At this point, additional details have not been released.
