Contractor hits gas line in San Rafael
SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (KTVU) - Drivers are being asked to avoid the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue in both directions due to a street closure for a natural gas leak.
PG&E crews responded to the scene.
According to authorities, a contractor sawed through a 1.5" gas line in the area of 1462 Lincoln Avenue as he was doing sewer work.
No one was injured.
At this point, additional details have not been released.
