EAST COAST FAMILY ASKING FOR HELP: A family from South Carolina and police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say believe stole from their bank account at a Suisun City WalMart store.

The investigation began about 7:30 a.m. Friday when the family called Suisun City police to report that someone had stole more than $1,000 from their bank account at the store at 350 Walters Road.

Investigators retrieved surveillance video showing a man wearing a black hat, black jacket and blue jeans scanning numerous iTunes and gift cards at the self-check-out.

The man then took a light colored card from his wallet and scanned it through the card machine to buy the items. Police say the card removed money from the family's bank account.

A second man was seen leaving with the suspect in a mid-sized silver pickup truck. They were last seen leaving the WalMart parking lot toward Highway 12.

Anyone with information is asked to call Suisun City police at (707) 421-7361 and refer to case number 16-1634. Information can be reported anonymously to Solano Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-7867.

OWNER SOUGHT IN PETALUMA DOG FRACAS:

The incident happened near 4th and C streets about 7 p.m. Saturday.

A woman reported that her dog was attacked by another dog, described by police only as a red pitbull. The dog's owner had red hair and was dressed in a black coat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Petaluma Animal Services at (707) 778-7387 or Petaluma police Officer Chris Allen at (707) 781-1203.
