Cow killed, car crash on Orinda highway

ORINDA, Calif. (KTVU) - A cow walking along the highway in Orinda was killed early Wednesday and video at the scene showed several cars were damaged after hitting it.

The California Highway Patrol log showed the cow was struck just after midnight on eastbound Highway 24 off Fish Ranch Road. An ambulance arrived on scene, video showed, but the condition of the drivers and the passengers was not immediately known.

Where the cow came from was also not immediately clear.
