Crews battle fire at Sunnyvale strip mall

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (KTVU) - Crews battled a 2-alarm fire in the South Bay Wednesday morning. 

Sunnyvale firefighters say it broke out in a strip mall near the busy intersection of Evelyn and South Fair Oaks Avenue, around 5:00 AM.

The fire started in a barber shop in the complex, which is now a complete loss.  The fire was fully involved when crews got to the scene 3 minutes later.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still unknown.

Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety has the intersection blocked off, and drivers should avoid the area.
