Crews respond to hazmat incident on I-680 in Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KTVU) - Contra Costa Fire crews responded to a hazmat incident on I-680 SB in the Walnut Creek area. 

Three vehicles were involved in a crash Thursday morning. One of the vehicles was carrying a mixed load of chemicals and chlorine. 

There was a strong odor of chlorine in the area. 

Hazmat crews responded to the scene.
