Dash cam shows DUI driver narrowly missing Texas police officers helping disabled motorist

FOREST HILL, TX (KTVU) - An extremely close call occurred on a Texas highway when a speeding DUI driver narrowly missed police officers standing on the side of the road assisting another motorist. 

The incident took place on Thursday night on the Southeast Loop 820 in Forest Hill. The officers said they were helping a driver who broke down on the freeway. 

No one was injured during the accident. Officers were just barely able to jump out of the way before the reckless car hit the patrol car and sideswiped the disabled vehicle.

The driver was caught and identified as 26-year-old Cedrick Henson Jr. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
