Detectives investigate stabbing death of 66-year-old Aptos woman

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KTVU) - A 66-year-old Aptos woman was found stabbed to death in a Santa Cruz apartment early Monday morning, according to police.
Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Front Street just before 5 a.m. where the victim was found inside, dead under suspicious circumstances.
The victim, identified as Shannon Magner, suffered a stab wound to the back of the neck.
Detectives have determined that her death was a homicide, and have identified a possible suspect. They say they'll release the suspect's identity after an arrest warrant is issued. That individual is believed to
have fled the Santa Cruz area, according to police.
