Device reminds parents if child is left in car

SAN JOSE, Calif. - A San Jose woman has created a new wireless alert system that notifies parents if they accidentally leave a child in a car.
It is called "I Remind" and it was launched in San Jose on Tuesday by creator Marti Muccurdy along with San Jose mayor Sam Liccardo.
It is made up of a bear-shaped sensor pad that goes under the car seat.
A second attachment goes on the side.
The system connects to an app that notifies parents immediately if their child is left inside the car.
The device is available for $99 on Amazon.com and must be paired with a smart phone.
