Dramatic video shows rescue of motorcyclist pinned underneath SUV on busy freeway

RENO, Nev. (KTVU) - Police in Nevada have released body camera video of the rescue of a motorcyclist who was pinned under a car after an accident on a busy interstate. 

The man was trapped under an SUV after a crash on Tuesday when he and his passenger were thrown from the bike after colliding with a pick-up truck.

A state trooper and good Samaritans managed to free him by lifting the SUV and sliding him out from underneath.

The female passenger was thrown into one of the lanes. Both were injured, but are expected to recover. 

In the video, you can hear the passenger asking about the driver. Similarly, the man driving the motorcycle's first words to officers were about his concern for the passenger. Officers assure each of them that the other is ok. 

A preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle driver made an unsafe lane change and hit the pickup truck.
