Driver, passenger die in fiery Dublin car accident

DUBLIN, Calif. (KTVU) - Two people died on Wednesday morning when a driver and passenger struck a light pole in Dublin, police said.

The coroner identified the men as Matthew McEnerney, 35, of Dublin and Ethan Sellers, 29.

Capt. Nate Schmidt said the driver had been traveling southbound on Fallon Road and Antone Way about 1:45 a.m. when the accident occurred. The car erupted in flames. The area is near the Dublin Ranch Golf Course and Fallon Sports Park.

The cause of the accident is being investigated, Schmit said.
