Drugs and weapons seized with search warrant in Antioch
ANTIOCH, Calif. (KTVU) - The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office released a picture Saturday of weapons and drugs seized during an operation.
Authorities say detectives from the special investigations unit, with help from the Anti-Violence Support Effort (CASE) team, executed a search warrant at a home on the 4500 block of Elkhorn Way in Antioch Thursday morning.
Michael Green, 40, and Joseph Lowery, 30, were arrested and booked into the Martinez Jail, on charges including possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sales, maintaining a place for the purpose of selling drugs, and child endangerment.
Officers seized seven firearms, including two assault rifles, a shot gun, high capacity magazine clips, and four handguns, two of which were stolen.
A stolen motorcycle was also recovered.
In addition, detectives found $30,000 in heroin, methamphetamine, ecstasy and marijuana.
The sheriff's office did not release any more details about the child in the home.
Bail has been set at $430,000 for Green, and $340,000 for Lowery.
