East Bay man wounded in car with 2 children inside
PITTSBURG, Calif. (KTVU and wires) - A 35-year-old Antioch man who was shot while driving a car carrying two children, is in stable condition, a police spokesman said Saturday.
The victim was heading north on Diane Avenue in Pittsburg Friday afternoon, when he was shot in the neck.
He was able to flag down police officers passing by, said Captain Ron Raman.
The victim was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. His identity has not been released.
The children inside the car were not injured.
