All eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge have reopened after an officer-involved shooting closed them.

CHP opened the two left lanes around 8:50 a.m. There is no word on when the other three lanes will reopen.

At 3:45 a.m. Highway patrol officers were investigating a crash involving multiple vehicles about a mile from the toll plaza when a vehicle drove toward an officer for unknown reasons, according to the CHP.

Officers say a red Cadillac drove toward them on the shoulder of the roadway. CHP says they gave repeated orders for the driver to stop and when the driver did not listen, at least one officer fired their gun.

The suspect was hit at least once.

The suspect was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown at this time.

The lanes are closed just east of the Yerba Buena Island tunnel. CHP is working to turn arounddrivers stuck in the traffic at Treasure Island.

Drivers heading east from San Francisco are being instructed to exit at 4th Street.

Oakland Police officers are also at the scene investigating.
