Female reports assault on Stanford main campus
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. (KTVU) - Authorities are investigating after a female reported being sexual assaulted on the Stanford campus overnight Sunday.
According to The Stanford University Department of Public Safety (DPS) the female reported force was used during the assault.
Authorities believe the assault occurred between Sunday evening and Monday morning.
DPS said they were notified of the reported assault by Stanford Hospital, a legal requirement. They said the victim wishes to remain anonymous and has provided no statement.
