Fire crews knock down 25-acre fire near Morgan Hill

MORGAN HILL, Calif. (KTVU and wires) -- Firefighters were able to quickly contain a 25-acre wildfire in Santa Clara County Saturday morning near Highway 101 and Morgan Hill.

The incident was reported at 10:25 a.m. in the vicinity of Highway 101 and Coyote Creek Golf Drive.

Dispatchers said the fire had been "knocked down" by 11:11 a.m., and it is not expected to grow or get worse.

There are more than 20 fire engines working this incident, and Cal Fire has aircraft and bulldozers on scene. No injuries have been reported and no structures are currently threatened, according to dispatchers.
