Fire damages units at Walnut Creek condo complex

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KTVU) - Firefighters battled a small fire at the Ygnacio Gardens Apartments early Wednesday at 1919 Ygancio Valley Road in Walnut Creek, according to Contra Costa County Fire Protection District officials.

The fire broke out about midnight. One neighbor told KTVU that the police had been called to this address several times and the residents there had recently been evicted.
